Born in Transylvania, Smara has spent much of her professional life bringing people together through education and community programs, both in Romania and internationally. Her experience as a teacher, youth coordinator and program director has shaped an approach centered on people, learning and meaningful connection.

She loves creating experiences that encourage curiosity, discovery and personal growth, and helping people connect not only with a place, but with the people and communities that give it meaning.

Outside of her work, Smara is happiest in the countryside—surrounded by nature, her dogs and good people. For this journey, she brings that same warmth and sense of connection to the Romania she calls home.
